Christmas party on 12/15!

Our big One50five Christmas party is Sunday 12/15 - be sure and bring a wrapped gift that cost $5 or less for the gift exchange!  And bring a friend so we can have over 100 people there and get Brandon to dye his hair pink!

So we had a technical glitch where we didn't have all of the sound files for the TurnLife homework posted on the website.  That has been fixed! 

If you are in TurnLife go to the homework page and listen to the lessons.  Let Lauren or Susan know if you have any more trouble with the lessons online. 

Turkey Bowl cancelled due to weather

Missions opportunity close to home

Keith from Christian Youth In Action (CYIA) of Georgia came and told us about a great opportunity to get involved in spreading the Good News of Jesus right here in Georgia.  The CYIA program teaches 15-22 year olds to ways to reach kids younger than them for Christ, helps them grow spiritually, and encourages them to have a closer relationship to God.

The opportunity they have in 2014 will be June 7 through June 14 and only costs $325.  The location in Georgia has not been decided on yet.

Great lock-in Friday night!

The high-schoolers had a great time staying up all night at the lock-in this past Friday night.  Everyone had a blast playing Sardines and Signs and there was a 45' marathon hand of Uno that was played, too!  The Waffle House will never be the same at 4:00am! 

Many thanks to the volunteers who stayed up with them - what a blast!
